As the Maintenance Worker, you’ll be responsible for creating a safe, healthy barrier free and productive work environment for Jawonio's consumers (adults with disabilities), employees, and visitors by performing building and grounds work to ensure the proper cleanliness, security, operation and performance of equipment, building systems, and grounds for residential group homes for adults with disabilities.
Reports To: Program Director, Jawonio, NJ
Status: Part-Time
Location: Bergen and Passaic Counties, NJ
Education/Experience:
High school/GED with at least 6 months experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Skills in basic plumbing, electrical, repairs etc.
- Valid driver's license (for 3+years min) & acceptable driving record
- Must be cleared/maintain acceptable record under NJ state mandated criminal background check process
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be clear and maintain an acceptable record under the Medicaid Fraud & Abuse clearance process.
