Community Residences are designed to promote a warm and caring home-like atmosphere which fosters increased independent living skills for people with disabilities. Residents receive individualized training in self care, independent living skills and basic household chores according to their level of ability. Individuals are encouraged to participate in community events, social and recreational activities in the evenings and on weekends. Community Residences are located in Park Ridge, Totowa, Clifton, Emerson and Fair Lawn in New Jersey.
